These terms are here to keep Shelfie safe, friendly, and predictable. They’re written for humans. By using Shelfie, you agree to them.

Using Shelfie

• You’re responsible for anything you post, including shelf titles, notes, and tags.
• Please don’t use Shelfie to harass people, spam, scrape aggressively, or break the law.
• If you create an account, keep your sign-in method secure.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you create on Shelfie. By posting content, you give Shelfie permission to host it and show it back to you and to other people (for example, when you make a shelf public).

Links to retailers (and affiliate links)

Shelfie may link to third-party retailers so you can buy a book. Some links are affiliate links (currently Amazon Associates; other programmes like Bookshop.org may be added later).

If you use an affiliate link and make a purchase, Shelfie may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Retailers set their own cookies and policies.

Shelfie does not process payments and does not receive your purchase or payment details.

Availability

Shelfie is provided on a best-effort basis. We try to keep it up and running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free.

Accounts and moderation

If we need to, we may remove content or suspend accounts to protect the community or the service (for example: spam, abuse, or technical attacks). We’ll try to act fairly and proportionately.

Changes

We may update Shelfie and these terms over time. If the changes are meaningful, we’ll update this page and try to call it out in-product.
